This humor book is a collection of those tales, ramblings, and adventures. But mostly it’s about all of the fabulous sex I’m not having.

This book has many funny moments, some episodes that almost every can relate to. On the negative side it also has typographical problems on almost every page that take away from the enjoyment of reading the book. I am not a stickler for perfect English in a self-published book, I am okay with a small number of typographical errors. However in this book the author experienced a persistent problem with multiple words being concatenated together. This starts from page one and almost every page in the book has at least a couple of words stuck together, as if there was no editing pass on the book even by the author herself.Ali Julia review

Fantastic book!! Olive is a very talented writer and really drawed me in. I could relate to some of her stories from my own experiences. She used humor very well and at the same time there was the sense of truth. Excellent and highly recommend!!!
This book was free kindle download- my expectation were low. I LOVED this book. It was funny, quirky, and as a female in her 20's I could relate. Do not expect it to be all about sex- spoiler alert- it's not. I enjoyed it a lot and can't wait to share it with my friends.
I have known Olive since 1st grade. This book is just one of the many great things she will do in her life. She is a wonderful person to know and since I've known her this long, I can honestly say the book is a perfect representation of her. She is quirky, hilarious and spontaneous! I can remember when some of the shenanigans in this book happened, so reading them from her perspective just brings back the laughs and memories. The situations that she gets in to are completely relatable and her candid 'this is me, deal with it' attitude makes her all the more endearing. Can't wait for the celibacy to end so there will be sequel!
A very entertaining read. Works well to read a story here and there or to take in the whole book in a day. It was definitely hard to stop reading once I started. Many tales of excitement and disappointment that shared a humor or sometimes a lesson that left me wanting to find out what happened next. At the end of the book I was a little sad it was over and will look forward to future chronicles in the adventures of Olive.
Unintentionally Celibate is a great tale of one girl's lifelong struggles to find that special someone and to keep him! Funny, irreverent, and honest, Olive Persimmon writes with that rare flare of someone who has studied the art and perfected her own style along the way. I think you'll enjoy reading about her escapades as much as I did. Highly recommended! .
This book is not only hilarious but extremely relate-able. Its that story of all of us! We have all been there. We have fought to get ahead in our career and ambitions. We have been broke at one point or another. We have had ridiculous or embarrassing things happen to us. This book is an amazing well crafted set of stories that gave injected me with a dose of pure joy. Did I mention FUNNY! I literally couldn't put this book down. I read it in one sitting. I have recommended this book to at least 100 friends and I have a feeling you will do the same! P.s its a great ice breaker, just say "did you hear about the book unintentionally celibate?"
This woman . . . let's talk about my new best friend, if only in my head. Olive has captivated my cold New Yorker heart a few subway rides at a time (I had more than two judgmental looks from fellow straphangers). I love how open she was about the most prideful topic I can think of -- getting laid. S***, it gives me a twisted sense of relief that I'm not the only normal woman one failing really hard at love. Even better, I got to meet the author at her book launch party a while back. As if I didn't love her work enough, her infectious warmth and gratitude made me want to buy twelve more copies. I hope her next book is of wildly fufilling sex tales. I will have no quams reading about those on the subway, either.
